Sheikh Mo’s Right Hand Man Is No Stooge

If Sheikh Mohammed’s Dubai International Capital consortium does end up buying Liverpool Football Club, the best-informed fans in the world can rest assured there’s plenty of passion and belief in the club from key players in the proposed deal. The chief exec of DIC, Sameer Al-Ansari, is a long-term and ardent Reds fan. “We are supporters of the game and of the club,” Al-Ansari said as the proposal was announced. Details of the proposed deal aren’t yet known,  but LFC chief exec. Rick Parry has already said DIC would make an “ideal partner” for LFC as it plans to expand into a new stadium at Stanley Park.
