Saturday May 27th will be a day of fairs and fashion shows in Liverpool to promote ethical awareness in the city. During the day there will be a free outdoor fair, Sustainalicious, with stalls selling fair-trade goods and a ticketed fashion show in the evening, Re:dress, showcasing some of the UK's upcoming fair-trade designers. The day is billed as one of many annual events promoting ethical/fair-trade/sustainable living in Merseyside and elsewhere. The founders, Post Plastic, are a group dedicated to promoting ethical fashion. The lifestyle fair, which promises home decor, clothing, accessories and food, will take place between 10am and 4pm in the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mount Pleasant. The fashion show will take place from 7pm and tickets, costing £7.50, are available from The Guild Card Shop and News from Nowhere on Bold Street.

In case you didn't know, this coming Saturday, May 13th, is World Fair Trade Day.
